Black Trompette
These hollow mushrooms need to be brushed to ensure any debris is removed from the funnel-cap. They have a sweet earthy richness that goes along way to flavour soups, stews and casseroles and being versatile go particularly well with fish, making a striking contrast with white fish. The season for this mushroom is August to December. Ambient shelf life is 6-7 days at 5-6 Degrees.
