Appearance: Portabello are large, flat, dark, open-capped mushrooms.
Characteristics: Portabello are robust mushrooms with a meaty texture.
Shelf Life: Portabello Mushrooms can have a shelf life of approximately 5 days when kept refrigerated.
How to Cook: Portabello are very versatile- good for roasting, baking and stuffing. They’re also great for barbecuing too. Dot with butter, crushed garlic, herbs and seasoning and cook for a few minutes until the juices run.
