Pink Oyster
Appearance: Originating from the tropics, these mushrooms range from a pale creamy pink through to a rich deep pink and are generally bought as a cluster rather than individual mushrooms.
Characteristics:Their flavour has been likened to bacon when fried and the texture could be described as seafood-like.
Shelf Life: The shelf life for pink oyster is short so do not buy it too far in advance, and it must be kept refrigerated.
How to Cook: Always use it fresh for maximum flavour. Pink Oyster cook similarly to Grey Oyster.
